Mom's pillow & cushion recovering project

Mom bought a new couch and had an old chair that she wanted to put with it. I had the task to recover the cushions on the chair to match the couch. She bought this pretty floral fabric, and I recovered the pillows that came with her couch, salvaging the piping and back of the pillow. Also salvaged the foam and zippers on the rocking chair cushions...more pictures will be added of this project later as I finish the project.

The picture on the left is the "before" shot of the two cushions and one of the two pillows...you can sure see that they DO NOT go together!

Picture on the right is before and after of one cushion...MUCH better!

FYI - I am NOT going into the furniture recovering business...

That cushion looks great! Sounds like it is not your favorite project though!?

It wasn't too bad and it went smoother than I thought it would, but took probably 4 hours to do that one cushion...maybe the second one won't take as long?

It sure looks fresher! That was an old rocking chair Andy picked up from the side of the road & it only had one rocker. He made a matching rocker to repair it and now it really looks great. I love the antique look of it and it holds me and one grandchild sitting together. Thanks, Jnet

Hey Jnet! Do you know what happened to Tinynay's website? Is she still in business? Just wondering... I was looking for her machine smocking designs and couldn't get the website to pull up. Thanks so much!

I have no idea...I bought several designs from her a couple of years ago and haven't tried to reach her site since then...sorry I don't have any more information.
