My older daughter needs a little more "mature" looking wardrobe so I found this little suit pattern and some corduroy that still has a bit of little girl flair! I LOVE how it turned out. The jacket is fully lined and has like 25 pieces so it really took some time to put together, but doesn't she look like a little CEO? The shirt underneath I am not too sure about, we'll see what else we have that could go underneath, but I wanted to take a picture right away. I don't remember the pattern I used for the skirt, but the jacket is Simplicity 4669 view C.
I made this nice crocheted bowl for my daughter from one inch strips of cotton fabric. Isn't it a nice BOWL? She has worn it about every day for a week now...she LOVES sleeping in it. She is reading "Black Stallion"
size 1 Mary De top (hemmed to 15 inches) for a client. Done in white broadcloth...ready to smock - I have no idea why this picture won't turn the right way, and I'm not fiddling with it anymore...just tilt your head to the right.
For a client. Pretty little 12 month ready to smock top. 14.5 inches long and made from broadcloth. I think this is so adorable. I'm sure her little one will be cute in it when she's finished with the smocking!
I plan to give these two gifts at a double baby shower on Tuesday. One is a pink smocked bib and the other is a ready to smock dress (the mom-to-be can smock and has three sons so far).
